Thing 3

How might a blog support the work you do?
A blog support network would work wonders for me. One, it would save on paper, as I send home a weekly newsletter. I think it would be a great opportunity for my students to use the web at home, with their parents, to see what new things are going on in our classroom, and our school.

How might you use a blog with students?
As of right now, I am not sure that a blog would be very good with the group of students I have right now. I have some very low CI students who can't read, and have a hard time using a mouse.

How might they respond to a blog assignment? What concerns do you have about educational blogging?
I feel the students who were able to use the blog, would have a really fun time doing it. It would make their learning fun, and interactive. The concerns I have is having children unsupervised on the Internet. There are such issues with this, in this day and age. I would have to feel conferable that each student was being monitored closely.
